This Patchwork Dog Quilt would be a very easy project for someone with even basic sewing skills. Whilst this is a Paid Pattern, it would be very easy to recreate. You could make a large Rag Quilt and then trace the shape of the Puppy. Simply cut it out and overlock the edges.
